#GrantsNotDebt #FreeEducation

On November 4th 2015, thousands of students and workers from across the country joined together to march and protest against the abhorrent 'economic' choices of the Conservative Party, which have negatively impacted the ability of many to participate in Higher Education and limited peoples' daily lives.

The National Campaign Against Fees and Cuts (NCAFC) are the group behind the demonstration. They say students and workers were not there to march for one day.  Rather, it was the beginning of building a movement seeking to win and renegotiate the terms of a corrupt system.

DoubleSpeak, keen to experience first-hand the power behind the movement, spent the day on the ground, live-tweeting about the events, posting photos and updates to inform followers of the importance of participation.  Whilst there, we interviewed several people who told us why they were engaging or showing solidarity.
